It is a dark and quiet summer evening, with stars shining in the dark air which look like millions of diamonds. Bob and I are hand in hand, saying nothing and just enjoying the quiet night in the cold coolness, which makes me so cozy.
“Ann, I want to give you something! Close your eyes!” Bob stops, saying this with glittering eyes.
“What?” I am curious.
“Close your eyes and you’ll know soon!”
“Ok!” I had to follow his instructions and closed my eyes.
“Now, open your eyes!”
“Wow! What a beautiful Tiffany diamond ring!” I cry out with excitement and happiness. In front of me, in a cute box, is a very beautifully designed Tiffany Hearts. The dazzling diamond is cut so perfectly. I just can’t tear myself away from it.
“Ann, could you marry me?” He proposes to me with his right leg kneeling down.
I am totally moved and drown into happiness and excitement. It is really hard for both of us to come to this step.
My mother was against our relationship because in her heart Bob was not rich enough to give me a happy life. But we refused to give up our love for the economic reason. So he made his promise to work hard and would propose me with an expensive Tiffany Hearts, which stands for his never-changing love for me. Years had passed and I was always waiting for this day to come, a day which means significant in my life.
And now, just this summer evening, my long-time perseverance and efforts pay back. I nod my head without any hesitation. And he helped me wear the beautiful Tiffany diamond ring, giving out the light of happiness and lighting up our hearts in this dark night.
When we got home, my mother was watching TV, sitting on the white sofa. She was a little surprised when she saw the Tiffany diamond ring was worn on my finger.

“Yeah, mum. It’s time for us two to get together. This time I will never obey you if you don’t agree!” I replied in excitement.
“Ok, let’s sit down to plan the wedding ceremony!”
